We have always felt strong ties to our community of filmmakers and patrons and that is exactly why we are making the decision to suspend our plans for Windy City Horrorama Part III. This year’s film festival will no longer take place on the weekend of April 24-26 as the dates fall during a concerning, scary, and confusing time with the current state of COVID-19.
As of today, the future of Horrorama is unknown, but what we do know for certain is that the films we have programmed, the filmmakers we have gotten to know, and the immense love and support from all of you would have led to one of the most special and joyous experiences. Because of that, we are putting our thinking caps on and working with wonderful folks to find a solution that works for our current situation.
Like the rest of the world right now, we need a little time to see where things are headed and to do what is best for our friends, families, and communities.
Thank you for all of your kind words, love, and beers. Please take care of yourselves so that we can all hang out at the Davis again soon and talk incessantly about our love of movies.
